Safe Sport - USASwimming.org. Take a Safe Sport Course
North Dakota Swimming, as a sub-entity of USA Swimming, strives for all stakeholder's safety. In particular, athlete safety is a MUST and USA Swimming along with the U. S. Center of Safesport are committed to creating a zero tolerance viewpoint for any form of abuse including sexual abuse. In order to keep our athlete's safe, all adults including athletes, coaches, parents, volunteer's and officials are responsible for maintaining a safe environment. In each category of the different adult constituents, mandatory and volunteer educational opportunities are available in order to improve and continue to expand our climate of care.
In 2017, through Congressional authorization the U.S. Center for Safesport as the leader in the movement to end emotional, physical, and sexual abuse of amateur athletes (US Center for Safesport, 2020). USA Swimming, the National Governing Body (NGB) for Olympic and Paralympic
